The Host Patrick was a very pleasant gentleman. Upon arrival we noticed that the home needed a thorough cleaning, and the bathroom had mold in the shower. The house was dark and uninviting, the mattresses need replacing. We suspect that Patrick is “over his head” in keeping up his B&B. I think he was close to our age, and we are in our 70’s.

Our stay of one night at Greenfield House was pleasant and welcoming followed by a good breakfast before our departure.

While the location was good for taking day trips the accommodations were dark, outdated. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was moldy. upon arrival found the promised sitting room was off limits. The house manager was very helpful and I enjoyed her company.

It was not luxurious, nor furnished to the highest standards as advertised– furnishing run down, beds dilapidated, dead plants in windows of dining room. No attention to detail and no special touches. On busy noisy street not scenic at all.The town of Mallow is not much of a town and very limited dining option.

This B&B was on a very busy road which could make it hard to find (you're going too fast to look). The room was clean although dated. The hosts were helpful and welcoming.
